In-banner video advertising combines the power of video advertising with the scale of display advertising – for the Joost Video Network, that’s the ability to reach consumers through more than 2000 premium publishers worldwide. Advertisers have the opportunity to tell longer stories through in-banner video advertising using ads up to one minute in length. The Joost Video Network offers four types of in-banner video executions, in a variety of IAB-standard units to achieve your campaign goals.
Click-to-Play
Click-to-Play in-banner ads use compelling display graphics and messaging to drive consumers to initiate the ad. This method of delivery gives control to the consumer, and ensures that interested consumers watch the ad when they want to.

Auto-Stream
Auto-stream ads begin streaming video inside the banner when the page is loaded, attracting consumers with compelling video content. The viewer can then choose to initiate sound for the ad or interact with it further.

Expandable
Expandable in-banner ads begin with a compelling display or rich media ad, and expand to a larger area of the screen to show a high-impact video advertisement. While the video is playing, Expandable in-banner ads encourage more interaction, and provide a platform for the advertiser to share more compelling information about the brand, product or offer.
Expandable in-banner video ads are available as Click-to-Play ads or Auto-Stream ads. The banner expands and video begins playing upon the consumer’s action – such as clicking or mousing over the banner – with Click-to-Play Expandable ads, whereas Auto-Stream Expandable ads provide an engaging video experience upon the page load.
Expandable video executions enable video playback as a teaser inside the original banner and in the larger expanded area.
