What is Adconion?

Adconion is a performance driven advertising network, founded by a team of seasoned Internet advertising executives. By leveraging a revolutionary Ad serving and optimization technology, representing top branded Advertisers and a professional team of media experts, our goal is to pay our Member Websites above industry average CPMs.

How do I contact Adconion?

Fill out the Website Sign-Up Form and an expert Media Manager will contact you. They can answer your questions and provide you with an estimate on how much revenue you can expect to generate each month by joining the Adconion Network.

How do I sign up with Adconion and what are your terms?

You can sign up with Adconion by filling out the Website Sign-Up Form. All of our terms are located here as well. Please make sure that your Site meets these qualifications before you apply, as we DO NOT automatically approve any Websites.

What is a Pop-Under Ad?

A pop-under is a large Ad unit (usually 720x300 pixels or 800x600 pixels) that loads behind a user's current browser and is displayed when the active browser is closed. Because the user is exposed to your Ad once they have closed their browser and are in a passive state of mind, the probability to respond to your targeted Ad is much higher than an Ad that pops-up while they are busy trying to do something on the Web.

Does Adconion only do business with companies that are members of the EU?

No, we work with companies from all over the globe, including countries in Scandinavia, North America and Asia.

What is CPM?

Cost-per-mille, also known as cost-per-thousand impressions.

What is CPC?

Cost-per-click.

What is CPA?

Cost-per-action. Also referred to as cost-per-sale or cost-per-lead

What is Rev Share?

Revenue Share is when an Advertiser pays a percentage of the total sales generated as a result of running adverts on a Network or a Website.

How long does it take to be approved for the Adconion network?

Since we carefully review all Websites before approving them, this process can take up to ten business days.

Why was I denied to be a Website on the Adconion Network?

We have stringent guidelines to be a part of the Adconion Network. If your Site does not meet all of our general requirements, then it will not be approved. If at some point in the future you feel that your Site meets our requirements, please apply again.

How do I get help from your company on running advertising offers on my Site?

We pride ourselves on this point and do everything possible to teach you how to best increase your Website's monthly revenue. Simply contact your assigned Media Manager and they will assist you.

How long does it take for the reports to be updated?

Every hour, but these numbers are not reconciled and should not be used for billing.

What are your methods for approving advertisers?

All Advertisers must go through a pre-qualification process. This includes evaluation of the offer, the creative, its targeting, the number of sign-up fields, its marketability, landing pages and other aspects which can affect the performance and profitability of a campaign. If an offer meets all of our guidelines, and we feel it will add value to our Network, we then test the offer across the Network.

I lost my username or password. Where do I get it?

Any problems with usernames and passwords should be addressed by contacting your Media Manager.

How do I get the pop-unders to run on my Site? What do I do if I am having technical issues?

Once approved as a Network Member we send you an email that includes a link to your custom pop-under Ad code along with simple copy and paste installation instructions. Copy and paste the code into a text notepad file and then hard code it between the html commands on the page from which the pop-unders will launch. To test the pop-unders, open the page where you have placed the code and then close the browser window. If a pop-under Ad appears, your Site is on its way to earning revenue. If you are having difficulties simply contact your Media Manager.

Can I choose which ads run on my website?

The Adconion Network is voluntary and we do not want the Ads you show through your Site to make you feel uncomfortable. We have strict rules as to what kind of Ads we display, and we do not accept obscene content from our Advertisers. We also provide you with the ability to choose which Ad Campaigns you want to run on your Site through our user-friendly Web-based interfaces.

Does Adconion gather personally identifiable information about Website users?

No. For details please see our Privacy Policy.

Does Adconion have a referral program in place?

The short answer is "no." But, we realize the potential in having a publisher referral program and are currently working on the back end metrics to be able to rollout this program network wide. For now, we always appreciate any leads that get sent our way.

Where can I login to view impressions, revenue and eCPM?

You can login at Adconion.com with your username and password. If you have lost this login information, please email your media buyer and they will be more than happy to send that information your way.

What are your payment terms?

Net 70. For example, you will be paid by the second week in May, for the impressions you ran with Adconion in February.

What is the minimum amount I need to earn in order to get my payment?

Each publisher must earn a minimum of $50 for that billable month in order to receive a payment for that month. If you do not earn at least $50 for that month, your earnings will be carried over until the next month.

How to pull reports for each location tag?

When logged in at Adconion.com, you can easily generate a report by each individual location tag. To do so, you will need to select the "Website campaign" bubble at the top of the reporting interface. Make sure you have selected the appropriate currency and date range, and then select your website from the "Website" drop down field, and let this load. After a couple seconds, you can then pull down the "website order" drop down field and select the correct "website order." Once this has loaded, you can now select the "website campaign" that you are looking for and click "Run Report."

How can I upload a default banner?

There is currently no need for you to upload a default creative with Adconion, since we have close to 100% fill rate. If we do start to see a good amount of default impressions start to appear, then your media buyer will usually be the person to tell you, and will request a default creative from you. With our current user interface you cannot upload a default creative on your own.

Am I able to receive monthly payments via Paypal?

Yes! If you wish to accept payments via Paypal, just inform your media buyer. Please note that there will be standard 3% - 4% surcharge for all Paypal payments. Some percentages may vary according to your Paypal account settings.

Can I run Adconion ads on my website's forum pages?

While we do allow our publishers to run our tags on forum/chat room based pages, we don't recommend this. The reason is that sometimes forum/chat rooms get out of hand, and some of the user generated content might not be appropriate for our advertisers. If most of your traffic does come from Forums and/or Chat Rooms, please contact your media buyer and they can set you up with separate ad tags for these pages.

Can Adconion fill my International traffic?

Yes! While we focus our efforts on some of the major countries, Adconion is still able to fill just about 100% of all traffic from all countries with paid advertisements. Do you have unsold traffic from France, maybe from Canada, or what about Australia or China? If you do, let your media buyer know, and we can get you going with seperate tags for these hard to sell regions.

If I move, how do I change my contact information?

This one is very easy, just contact us, and let us know where you've moved and we will make the changes right away. Also, if you wish to have your checks made out to your name, rather than your company name, please inform your media buyer and we can make that change as well.
