Neil V. Sunderland, Ph.D. – Chairman & Non-Executive Director
Dr. Neil V. Sunderland is Chairman of Adconion Media Group Limited and Xing AG (DAX). He is, and has been, a board member of many private and public companies such as Cosa Liebermann SA, Elsevier Holdings SA, Leica plc., Quadriga Worldwide Ltd and Saurer AG. He is Executive Chairman of Adinvest AG and specializes in promoting rapidly growing internet/mobile/digital media businesses. Dr. Sunderland holds a B.Sc. (Eng.) in Chemical Engineering and a M.Sc. degree, with distinction, in Management Studies from Imperial College, London University, as well as a Dr.sc.techn. from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. He was Senior Vice President of Swiss Bank Corporation and Executive Director of Swiss Bank Corporation International before taking a senior appointment with an Australian conglomerate, Elders IXL in Melbourne, Australia. He has also been Vice-Chairman of the Australian Merchant Bankers Association and a member of the Executive Committee of the Swiss Private Equity and Corporate Finance Association.
Fred Krueger- Vice Chairman & Non-Executive Director
Mr. Krueger is currently the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Tagworld, Inc., an online ecosystem and leading social web platform. Prior to Tagworld, Fred was the lead investor and founder of five successful technology and Internet Ventures. His first venture, Fauve Software, a maker of image processing software, was sold to Macromedia (NASDAQ: MACR) in 1995. His next venture, Random Noise, Inc., was one of the leaders in Java technology and was sold to Vignette Corp (NASDAQ: VIGN) in 1998. His third company, iWin.com, was one of the largest free games and prize Websites on the Internet. The company was sold to Uproar for over 80 Million dollars in 2001, and the merged company was subsequently sold to Vivendi Universal (NYSE: V). Mr. Krueger was also the founding investor of TrafficMarketplace, one of the largest ad distribution Networks on the Internet today. Most recently, Mr. Krueger founded Santa Monica Networks / Keyword Marketplace, which was subsequently sold to Kanoodle. Mr. Krueger was educated in Paris, France and has a BA in Mathematics from Cornell University and a PhD in Operations Research from Stanford University.
Frank Bohnke- Non-Executive Director
Mr. Bohnke joined Wellington Partners as a General Partner in January 1998. Since then, he has been responsible for several successful exits, including ACG (IPO at Neuer Markt), alando.de (sold to eBay Inc.), webmiles (sold to Bertelsmann), Cobion (sold to Internet Security Systems Inc.) and SAF (IPO at the Prime Standard). Frank's investment activities focus on the fields of Software and Services. He currently holds seats on the supervisory boards of Astaro, Safe ID Solutions, Swyx and Wazap! Prior to joining Wellington Partners, Frank spent eight years in technology investment banking at J.P. Morgan in New York, London and Frankfurt. He advised customers such as IBM, Bertelsmann and Siemens on numerous M&A mandates and accompanied the NASDAQ listings of technology companies like EIDOS, Iomega and Dassault Systems. Frank holds degrees in Business Administration from the University of Essen and the University of Toronto (1989).
Giuseppe Zocco – Non-Executive Director
Giuseppe co-founded Index Ventures in 1996 and is a Partner. His investment focus currently includes ecommerce, services, and advanced communication components and devices.
Giuseppe serves as a Director of several companies including Telegent Systems, Ozon.ru, Artimi, Certess, and VirtualLogix. He was involved with several of the prior investments, including Virata (now Conexant, NASDAQ:CNXT), Ciao (now Greenfield, NASDAQ:SRVY), Numerical Technologies (now Synopsis), and Digiquant (now Intec, LSE:ITL.L).
Prior to founding Index Ventures, Giuseppe spent five years as a consultant with McKinsey & Company in several European offices. During his career at McKinsey, Giuseppe advised several major corporations on a number of strategic and organizational matters including European entry strategies, strategic positioning, marketing, and new product introductions.
Giuseppe holds a B.A. in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University
in Milan and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Dominique Vidal – Non-Executive Director
Prior to joining the London office of Index Ventures as a Partner in September 2007, Dominique was the CEO of Yahoo! Europe from 2004 to 2007. He joined Yahoo! from Kelkoo, when Yahoo! acquired the company in March 2004. At Kelkoo, where he was Managing Director from 2000 to 2004, Dominique drove the company's transformation from a small team with no revenues to Europe's preferred shopping search engine with 400 employees and revenues of $100 million per year.
Prior to Kelkoo, Dominque was a partner at Banexi Ventures in Paris, where he led investments in a number of companies including Kelkoo, Algety and In Fusio. He began his career at Schlumberger where he worked for 10 years in product marketing and business development roles in the telecom and smart card industries in France, the United States and Asia.
Dominique has an engineering degree from Supelec.
T. Tyler Moebius- CEO/President & Executive Director
Prior to founding EuroClick, Mr. Moebius joined TrafficMarketplace (TMP) as a co-founder in early 2001. There he served as Vice President of Operations and was responsible for both sales and media. In as short as 8 months, TrafficMarketplace had become the largest ad network in the US, according to Neilson Netratings/Media Metrix. This was primarily due to a strategic partnership forged by Mr. Moebius, where TMP became the first and exclusive reseller of MSN’s unsold ad inventory. Later similar partnerships were forged with both Yahoo! and AOL. The company was sold to Flipside.com a division of Vivendi-Universal (NYSE: V) in 2002, where Tyler was then promoted to S.V.P and General Manager of TrafficMarketplace and was responsible for all daily operations of the company. Prior to TrafficMarketplace, Mr. Moebius was a Series A investor and one of the first 10 employees at Avenue A (NASDAQ: AQNT), a digital marketing agency that became one of the industry's biggest success stories. In just two years, Avenue A increased its revenue to more than $140 million, acquired multi-million dollar accounts like Microsoft, Gateway, Expedia and Disney and earned AdWeek Magazine's Independent Interactive Agency of the Year award. At Avenue A Tyler served in both the sales and media departments and later he founded the Strategic Partnership Department in 1999- where he served as a Director and negotiated over a half billion dollars in strategic media deals. He holds a BSBA with a concentration in Marketing from Fort Lewis College.
