2008 has been a great year for Adconion.
In addition to being ranked number two in comScore’s global rankings, Adconion ended the year as the U.S.’s fastest growing network. According to the comScore Media Metrix, Adconion grew by 62.3% year-on-year in the year ending November 2008 – with 136.6 billion unique visitors and a reach of 71.6% - faster than any other network. Second in line was 24/7 Real Media, which showed growth of 53.5%.

Other milestones include Adconion’s successful completion of a record $80 million (£40.9 million) Series C round of funding led by Index Ventures – the largest online media venture investment in European history. The deal was subsequently hailed as the most enviable deal of the year, when it won the ‘Deal Envy of the Year’ at the 2008 Investor AllStars awards – considered the ‘Oscars of the European venture capital community’.

Adconion was also recognised as one of the hottest media technology companies in Library House’s prestigious Mediatech 100, a listing of the top 100 private companies most likely to change the media-tech world.
With the launch of Adconion.TV and many developments in the pipeline, 2009 should prove even better!
