Adconion ranks as UK’s fifth fastest growing technology company
Places in Top Ten on the Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100
London – Adconion Media Group, the world’s largest independent content monetisation and distribution platform, today announced it has secured 5th place on the prestigious Sunday Times Tech Track 100.Adconion debuted at fifth in the rankings, which were published within the Business Section of The Sunday Times on Sunday, September 19; other notable entries included online payment providers Moneybookers (ranked 12), music app maker Shazam (ranked 36), and Lovefilm.com (ranked 51).
The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 ranks the UK’s top 100 private technology companies with the fastest growing sales. Sales growth was measured by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the latest three financial years, from 2006 to 2009, or 2007 to 2010. Annualised sales had to exceed £250,000 in the base year (2006 or 2007) and not show a drop from the penultimate to the latest year, where total sales had to exceed £5m.
The Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100 awards will be presented at a gala dinner, to be held at Vinopolis in London on Tuesday 16 November 2010.
